1. Overview
Conxt is an AI memory layer that captures decisions, preferences, and context from your AI sessions and makes them available across tools. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models.
2. What we collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password.
Memory records: Conxt extracts structured records from your AI conversations — decisions you make, preferences you express, and entities you reference such as projects, tools, and people. We do not store raw conversation transcripts permanently. Raw session text is used only to extract memory records and is purged within 30 days.
Usage data: We collect basic usage metrics such as the number of memory records created and sessions captured. We do not collect keystroke data, browsing history outside of supported AI tools, or any data from websites other than claude.ai, chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, and copilot.microsoft.com.
Extension data: The Conxt Chrome extension reads conversation content only on supported AI tool pages. It does not read content on any other website.
3. How we use your data
We use your data solely to provide the Conxt service:
— To extract and store memory records from your AI sessions — To inject relevant context into new AI sessions on your behalf — To display your memory records in the Conxt dashboard — To maintain your account and authenticate your identity
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256.
Your user ID and email are stored locally in your browser via the Chrome extension's storage API. This data never leaves your device except to authenticate with Conxt servers.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except:
— Service providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and Railway for backend infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements. — Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
We do not share your memory records or conversation data with any AI provider, advertiser, or analytics company.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
— Access your data: Export your full memory graph as JSON at any time from the dashboard. — Delete your data: Delete individual memory records or your entire account from the dashboard. Account deletion permanently removes all associated data within 30 days. — Correct your data: Edit or delete any memory record directly from the dashboard. — Withdraw consent: Uninstall the Chrome extension at any time to stop data capture. Your existing memory records are preserved until you delete them.
7. Data retention
Memory records are retained until you delete them or close your account. Raw session text used for extraction is purged within 30 days. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.
8. Children
Conxt is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of Conxt after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
